Doohyoulike: 400 more organic clicks in 3 months through SEO and GEO
How Growth Room moved Doohyoulike beyond brand traffic: 400 more organic clicks in 3 months, a 7,000-impression peak in August and AI Overview visibility.

Doohyoulike, a media and adtech company specialising in indoor DOOH advertising, generated more than 400 additional organic clicks year on year over its first three months of engagement, with a peak of 7,000 impressions in August, largely driven by the articles produced as part of the work. Its visibility in AI Overviews is improving on those same articles. These results come from an SEO and GEO setup deployed by Growth Room since June 2026, covering Google search and answers generated by language models.
About Doohyoulike
Doohyoulike operates in media and adtech, on digital advertising displayed on indoor screens, known as indoor DOOH. Its business is B2B and addresses two distinct populations: advertisers buying ad space, and the managers of the venues equipped with screens, such as gyms, campuses or theatres.
These two audiences do not ask the same questions and do not use the same vocabulary. An advertiser is looking for a distribution channel and performance criteria. A venue manager wants to understand what installing screens involves for them. Search visibility therefore has to cover two sets of queries that do not overlap, from the same website.
The starting point
The objective was to grow the site's organic visibility in order to generate more leads, from advertisers as well as from venue managers. The audit identified the central issue: organic traffic was almost exclusively brand traffic. The site was found by people who already knew the name, and by nobody else.
The sequence of work was clear. First clean up the technical foundations: schema, metadata, heading structure, indexing. Then build new business pages. Then establish topical authority through editorial content, in order to capture non-brand demand.
SEO: rebuilding the technical and editorial foundations
Full audit
We started with a full SEO audit across four dimensions: technical, semantic, competitive and brand visibility. That audit is what identified the dependence on brand traffic as the central issue.
Tracking and reporting
We set up tracking and quarterly reporting. On an SEO programme, frequency matters: a quarterly rhythm matches the time it actually takes for actions to take effect, and avoids steering on weekly variations that carry no signal.
Technical clean-up
The technical clean-up covered metadata, heading structures, indexing and structured data. This work produces no traffic on its own. It conditions the effect of everything that follows: a page that is poorly indexed or poorly structured does not surface, whatever its content.
Editorial strategy
The editorial strategy is built on semantic analysis and keyword targeting. We produce the briefs, review the articles and run the on-page optimisations. The goal is to answer the questions asked by both of the site's audiences, on queries that do not contain the brand name.
Those articles carry most of the results measured over the first three months: more than 400 clicks generated compared with the previous year, and a peak of 7,000 impressions in August driven in large part by that content.
GEO: visibility in generated answers
The setup also covers visibility in answer engines and language models. The principle is the same as non-brand SEO: being cited on questions asked without mentioning the company name. Visibility in AI Overviews is improving on the articles produced as part of the engagement.
Work under way
Two further projects are engaged. We are supporting the upcoming site redesign, on site structure, pillar page creation and architecture. We will also support the internationalisation of the site in Spain.
Results
- More than 400 additional organic clicks compared with the previous year, over the first three months of the engagement.
- A peak of 7,000 impressions in August, driven in large part by the articles produced as part of the engagement.
- Improving visibility in AI Overviews on those same articles, alongside a gain in non-brand visibility.
The engagement has been running since June 2026. The initial issue, moving beyond organic traffic made up almost entirely of brand searches, is starting to find a measurable answer.
