Redis, which publishes a data server solution used in tech and AI contexts, generated over 400 leads and 17 free trials since July 2026 on the French market. These results come from a paid acquisition setup deployed by Growth Room since July 2026, across Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads, covering lead and SQL generation as well as awareness.

About Redis

Redis publishes a data server solution, used in tech and AI contexts. Its business is B2B: it sells to technical teams and to the management functions that decide on their tooling.

That buyer profile changes how paid acquisition has to be approached. The product is evaluated by technical people, often before any contact with sales. The free trial is part of the journey: a company tests before it talks, which moves the job of advertising towards bringing the right profiles as far as that trial, rather than simply as far as a form.

The starting point

The ads channel was producing no results on the French market. The observation was clear: advertising investment existed, but it did not translate into usable leads in that territory.

The company therefore decided to test new approaches and to change agency. The framing was that of a test: establish whether the paid channel could work in France, on a market where it had delivered nothing so far. That means handling two objectives at once, lead and SQL generation on one side, awareness on the other, without the second absorbing the budget of the first.

Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads: generating leads and SQLs

Two channels, two roles

The setup runs on Google Ads and LinkedIn Ads. The two channels do not play the same role. Google Ads captures demand that has already been expressed: teams searching for an answer to an identified need. LinkedIn Ads makes it possible to address specific companies and job functions, including when the search has not started yet.

Splitting the roles this way avoids judging both channels on the same immediate metric. On a market where the paid channel had produced nothing, the first thing to establish was that it could generate volume at all, and only then to check the quality of that volume.

Lead and SQL generation

The primary objective is lead and SQL generation. Leads alone are not a sufficient criterion: producing usable ones is precisely what the previous setup failed to do. Campaigns are therefore built to bring in profiles matching the target, and judged on what the sales teams can do with them.

Since July 2026, more than 400 leads have been generated on the French market. The client considers those leads reasonably qualified, which is the first point of comparison with the previous situation. Seventeen free trials were also generated over the same period, which gives a second signal, closer to actual product usage.

Awareness

The second part of the setup covers awareness. It is not measured in leads. Its role is to establish the brand with the targeted audiences on the French market, ahead of any active search, so that lead generation campaigns speak to companies that already know the name.

Results

  • Over 400 leads generated on the French market since July 2026.
  • 17 free trials generated over that same period, since July 2026.
  • A paid channel that now produces leads in France, where it produced none before the engagement started.

The engagement started in July 2026 and is still at an early stage. The available perspective covers the first months of campaigns. What follows will be about confirming those volumes over time and tracking what the leads generated become further down the funnel.
